SPM, or surface permanent magnet synchronous motor, is characterized by its permanent magnets being directly attached to the rotor surface. In contrast, IPM, or internal permanent magnet synchronous motor, is designed and placed inside the rotor. These two types of permanent magnet motors each have their own unique application scenarios and performance characteristics.
TECO's permanent magnet motors have both IPM and SPM structures. The structure is usually designed based on the speed.
*SPM structure is usually used for low speeds (below 500RPM), and the specific design is determined by the actual solution.
